THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOS
Photographing the moon is quickly becoming a passion of mine. In November 2015, a friend and I patiently awaited the full moon rising behind the Brooklyn (and Manhattan and Williamsburg) Bridge in New York. Proper alignment is crucial and it only happens once or twice per year. Then moonrise needs to coincide with sunset for maximum visibility. And of course the weather has to cooperate. This time we got lucky. Two nights where my camera flew me - and you - to the moon.
