Al Marjan Island Fireworks by Grucci Guinness World Record Al Marjan Island Fireworks by Grucci Guinness World Record Al Marjan Island Fireworks by Grucci Guinness World Record IT’S OFFICIAL! Fireworks by Grucci® is the new Guinness World Record Holder for the Largest Aerial Firework shell. As the finale of this year’s New Year’s Eve fireworks show on Al Marjan Island in the Ras Al Khaimah UAE, Grucci successfully launched a 55 inch 2,400 lb firework shell. The shell obtained a launch height of more than 2,000 feet and burst diameter of 3,300 feet. This shattered the previous record which was less than ½ this size and weight. Realizing the World Record was result of a strong collaboration between Grucci and Al Marjan Island. It was very exciting to witness this monumental achievement and play a small part in documenting the event. Special thanks to Fireworks by Grucci® for making it possible for me to attend. It’s hard to judge the scale of the World Record Shell from this image, but if you look towards the lower left portion of the image you can see viewing area and award podium. This thing was massive! The first part of the show also included an impressive end to end fireworks performance covering the entire four mile length of the Island. All in all it was a very exciting night!
