THE STORY BEHIND THE PHOTOS
Located on New York’s Upper Westside, the Riverside Church first opened its doors in 1930. Conceived by industrialist John D. Rockefeller, Jr. and minister Harry Emerson Fosdick, the church is open to all who profess faith in Christ and its congregation includes more than forty ethnic groups. In 2012 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This photo was taken from across the Hudson River in Edgewater, NJ. We were waiting for the moon to make its appearance that night behind this amazing, Neo-Gothic structure and were not disappointed.
